Privacy Policy and Terms of Service

Privacy Certified: This means we do not share user information with anyone. We do not store information about your session for any other purpose than our own analytics and to troubleshoot our system, but this is cleaned-out regularly. It means there are no third party embedded applications in our code. It means we own the rights to our hosting environment and procurement of services and expect them to be delivered as per our contracts, which allows us to reserve the right to pursue legal remedies to resolve service issues if needed. Our mission is the protection of privacy.

Customer Expectation: The current state of The Internet is such that no service can guarantee your communications will be secure from law enforcement. We recommend that you do not use The Internet's hardware and software to act in bad faith. We expect that you abide by copyright laws.

NSL: We have never received a National Security Letter.

Collection: We do not collect your data except your unique IP address. We never share these with anyone outside our firm.

Third Parties: Under no circumstances have any third parties been granted permission to use the information in our database. We are not in the business of selling your information. We are in the business of protecting it while providing communications and information to the community.

Log Data: We retain log data for troubleshooting purposes, but the log data is automatically rolled (deleted) at regular intervals to protect your privacy and help ensure the security and thrift of our systems.

Improvement: We are constantly improving our system based on feedback from you, including these terms. Please check these terms regularly for changes. Notices will be posted if changes to this policy occur.

Legal: We follow the law. If a warrant is issued, we will comply with law enforcement requests.

Links: At times, links may be provided to third party websites which are not subject to these terms (that is beyond our control).

International: If you are using our services outside of The United States, please be cognizant of the laws in the country in which you are visiting as they apply to our services.

Eligibility: Anyone allowed by law may use our services.

Age limits: There are no age restrictions on using this system beyond what is required by the laws where you live, although minors - please seek the guidance of a qualified adult before using any Internet services. Some content may not be suitable for minors.

Legal Use: By using our system, you acknowledge that you are bound by the terms and policies set forth in this agreement.

Modification: We may modify our terms to accommodate changes to the legal environment, or in response to new revelations regarding new methods of privacy protection.

Feedback: You grant us permission to use any feedback you give us to improve our systems.

Content: Content means text, graphics, audio, and video. The content on the site is owned and copyrighted by Plains Tribune and John Dale unless otherwise stated.

Enforcement: Content deemed vulgar, defaming, or illegal may not be approved for distribution through our services. We may also receive too much content requiring our editors to make tough decisions about some content. In this event, our team will make a good faith attempt to decide fairly what to publish.

Warranty: This site provides a limited warranty in that we will act in good faith to protect your privacy from data thieves.

Limitation of Liability: We are not responsible for violations of privacy that occur to hacking or social engineering, nor do we assume responsibility for data loss for various legitimate reasons such as acts of nature, hacking, or equipment failure or inability to provision (insolvency).
